Dog Days of Summer Event

It’s August (can you believe it?) and almost Friday, so that means its time for our monthly First Friday activity in downtown South Bend. The plans for August 3rd include the family dog (on a leash, of course) in Dog Days of Summer. Family-friendly plans include everything from a scavenger game to a rescue dog showcase. There is even a dog trainer from Chicago as well as an ugliest dog contest (now that will be fun to watch). For those more interested in art, consider checking out the Artpost reception (5-7pm) or the panel discussion (7-9pm). Or perhaps the Tejano dance band is more your style, then head to the KeyBank Plaza (5:30-8:30pm). And who wouldn’t enjoy the Classic Car Cruise In on Michigan Street?
